Rick Binger

Brand + Creative Director

Rick brings 30 years of strategic thinking and creative experience to the table. He cut his teeth at Pentagram in the ‘80s, entering the world of catalog design with the award-winning The Nature Company catalog and soon after moving to form his own creative agency. There, he worked with many top retailers including Design Within Reach, Art.com, Restoration Hardware, Benefit Cosmetics, Nickelodeon, The Oakland Raiders, Discovery Toys, and Road Runner Sports, to name just a few. Rick later served as Co-Founder and Chief Content Officer at Catalog Spree (an app providing paperless catalog shopping), VP of Creative at SysIQ (an ecommerce development agency), Director of Creative at Gump’s (a famed San Francisco retailer), and EVP of Creative at CohereOne (a catalog strategy agency) before returning once again to his first love: running his own agency.

With three decades of experience to leverage, Rick specializes in strategic marketing with an emphasis on omnichannel retail, digital media, catalog, and direct mail. As a data-driven customer experience leader and ecommerce expert, he routinely utilizes analytics to drive customer engagement and improve profitability. Working with high-growth, small to mid-sized companies, Rick offers a unique blend of strategic guidance and change management to advance a brand’s capabilities and achieve goals. Rick has contributed to the success of numerous, industry- leading brands, including Williams-Sonoma, Smith & Hawken, Serena & Lily, Balsam Brands, and California Closets.
